Forum

The Forum tab is used to record the forum or court information for a matter. Features include:

The Forum tab is accessed by clicking on the tab in the binder section of the Litigation notebook. The Forum tab displays in tabular view as described below.

Forum Tab Field Definitions

Field

Description

Required (Y/N)

Court

The name of the court handling the litigation matter.

Docket #

The docket number for this case. To enter or view the contents of the field without scrolling, click to display the Memo dialog box.

Disposition

The disposition (e.g., Dismissed, On Appeal, etc.) of the case. When adding or updating records, select a value from a dropdown list.

Forum

The forum  (e.g.,Appellate Court, Municipal Court, etc.) for the case. When adding or updating records, select a value from a dropdown list.

Venue

The venue (e.g., First Circuit, County etc.) of the case. When adding or updating records, select a value from a dropdown list.

City

The applicable city associated with the case. When adding or updating records, select a value from a dropdown list.

State

The applicable state associated with the case. When adding or updating records, select a value from a dropdown list.

County

The applicable county associated with the case. When adding or updating records, select a value from a dropdown list.

Country

The applicable country associated with the case. When adding or updating records, select a value from a dropdown list.

A note or comment about the forum. To enter or view the contents of the note without scrolling, click to display the Memo dialog box.
