System-wide settings for Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes integrations are the same for all users and for all records and are performed by the System Administrator using Suite Manager. However, some user-level settings do exist for Lotus Notes only.
Fields
Domino Server – The Internet Protocol (IP) address of the server hosting Domino. The format should be server name, then a forward slash (/) followed by the name of the directory that contains the user IDs. For example, servername/Notes_IDs.
Domino Mail File – The directory and the database file for the user's mail. If the Lotus Note default settings were used, this will be mail/<useraddress>.nsf.
Domino Username – The user account used to access Lotus Notes.
Domino Password – The password for the user account.
Do not validate e-mail address before sending – An indication of whether the e-mail address being sent information will be validated against the selected address book.
Address book – The addresses used when synchronizing e-mail address for users and other invitees. The address book must be one that stores e-mail addresses in the native Lotus Notes format, not an SMTP format.
If your company has a very large global address book, verifying each name can adversely affect the computer's performance. Consider one of the following options:
§ Create a group specifically for use with the Bridgeway Suite applications, and then select that group from the Address Book field.
§ Select the Do not validate e-mail address before sending checkbox. E-mail messages will be sent without checking the recipients' names against names in the address book.
