The Related Matters tab is used to record related matters. A relationship type can be recorded for each related matter. An inverse relationship automatically is created via a database trigger. Related Matters tab features include:
Unlimited related matters per matter.
User-defined Matter Relationship Types dropdown.
Smart Matter dropdown with matter number or partial matter name searching and button to launch into Matter notebook.
The Related Matters tab is accessed by clicking on the tab in the binder section of the Matters, Litigation, Contracts, Matter Financials, and Investigations notebooks. If you have questions about entering or modifying tab data, refer to Adding Tab Data, Updating Tab Data, or Deleting Tab Data. The related matters display in tabular view as described below.
